Foundation
Early Growth

Real Estate as a Launchpad

Our journey began with strategic acquisitions in the Johannesburg CBD. By 2010, Lionshare had amassed over 1,000 residential units and established a property management firm overseeing 29 buildings. This provided the foundational capital, operational experience, and stakeholder trust that fuelled our future expansions.

Building Across Industries

  • Energy: Strategic equity participation in Sasol sites, paving the way for future investments in the fuel and energy sector.

  • Consumer Goods Distribution: Entry into FMCG distribution, enhancing supply chains and leveraging high-growth township economies.

  • Transport & Logistics: Investments in logistics infrastructure that support regional trade and cross-border mobility.

  • Hospitality: Acquisition and redevelopment of assets like the Reef Hotel, advancing urban hospitality in Johannesburg.
